Benefits of your
affiliation to NACNS:.

the organization's authority to speak to issues of concern to CNSs nationwide

the national organizations ability to target services and programs needed
by affiliates and their members

NACNS identify qualified CNSs for national leadership positions

the organization to gather quick assessments of how members stand on

Requirements
to become an NACNS affiliate:
Before you can be
recognized by the NACNS Board of Directors:
- Submit
a roster of the CNS members of the group
- Submit
the Affiliation Agreement with signature of the group leader
- Validate
that at least 25% of the CNSs in the group have dual membership with
NACNS. That is, with respect to the CNS members of an advanced
practice nurse group, at least 25% of the CNS members must be NACNS
members
After recognition by the
NACNS Board of Directors:
- Submit
a yearly report to the NACNS Board of Directors regarding affiliate
activities
- Annually
confirm that at least 25% of the CNS members of the group are dual members
of NACNS
- Submit Affiliate’s operational guidelines (if they exist)including
changes durng the year
