Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs) lead innovations for health care change to improve the health of the people they serve. They work collaboratively and in multidisciplinary teams to move health care and care practices forward by leveraging technological advances, incorporating cutting-edge research, and building on evidence-based practice to advance innovation science. As clinical innovation experts, CNSs are well positioned to influence practice, education, and research.

2013 Annual Conference Objectives:
Innovations and Change are the watchwords for the 2013 Annual Conference.

The conference has been designed to highlight novel approaches to CNS practice within the three spheres of influence: the client sphere (individual, family, community), the staff sphere (nurses, nursing practice), and organization/system sphere.

Network with your colleagues to learn about:

cost savings and quality care initiatives that the CNS brings to the clinical environment
the status of the APRN Consensus Model in its impact for the graduating CNS and the established CNS
