Membership

NACNS does offer a multi-year membership option that allows NACNS members to realize a percentage reduction in their dues if they renew using this option.

To apply for NACNS membership or to renew your membership, please complete our secure online membership application form. Be sure to include all required information.

If you wish to pay by check or fax, please download, print and complete the membership application form. To pay by credit card, please fill in the required fields. Mail the completed form to the address on the application form.

Please note: If you are requesting a student membership, you will need to include a copy of your current, valid student identification card with your completed member information form. It may be faxed or mailed to the NACNS Office.

Current initiatives include:

  • Appointment of APRN Consensus Model Implementation Task Force
     
  • Population-based CNS Competency development underway - Women's Health/Gender Specific and Family/Individual across the Lifespan.
     
  • Completion of Education Criteria - Criteria for the Evaluation of Clinical Nurse Specialist Master's, Practice Doctorate, and Post-Graduate Certificate Educational Programs
     
  • 2011 - 2012 Legislative and Regulatory Agenda
     
  • Participation in the development of APRN and LACE (licensure, accreditation, certification, education) structure to guide future APRN regulation
