CNS: The Journal for Advanced Nursing Practice
A key benefit to membership in NACNS is inclusion of the CNS journal within the cost of membership dues. CNS: The Journal for Advanced Nursing Practice, published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, is issued bi-monthly. It features up-to-date information on current trends and methodologies, lists new publications and products vital to clinical nurse specialists, and provides opportunities to earn continuing education credit.

CALL FOR MANUSCRIPTS
For
CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST:
THE JOURNAL FOR ADVANCED NURSING PRACTICE

The Journal is seeking manuscripts focused on the impact of the Clinical Nurse Specialists or other advanced practice nurses in any practice setting. Articles which speak to the 3 spheres of CNS influence: patient/client, nursing practice and organizations or networks are welcome. Topics can range from Clinical Practice, Patient Outcomes, Executive or Administrative functions, Health Care Policy, Delivery models, Education, Consultation and Research. Look for more examples of interest in the Call for Manuscripts listed within the Journal itself. We would like to encourage and support our membership to submit your experiences as a CNS in today’s challenging health care environment! Sharing your accomplishments with other CNSs enhances their practice too. Providing information about your practice promotes administrator’s and educator’s ability to evaluate and value CNS work.

The Journal webpage has links to CE tests, Journal articles and other sites of interest related to the Journal.
