Announcing New Scholarship

The Clinical Nurse Specialist Foundation is pleased to announce the creation of a new scholarship to support education of clinical nurse specialists. Due to a very generous recent donation, the Foundation will be able to award the first scholarship this year at the at the Clinical Nurse Specialist Foundation reception on Friday, in March 17, 2006. Eligible students are those who are pursuing a master’s degree in an accredited clinical nurse specialist program or Clinical Nurse Specialists pursuing a research doctorate. The scholarship is competitive and is based on academic performance, clinical excellence and demonstrated leadership.

Please help us get the word out to CNS students and encourage them to apply. Click on the link to obtain a copy of the scholarship description and application. Please feel free to duplicate these as needed.

Applications must be received by February 24, 2006 and should be mailed to:

The recipient of the award must agree to attend the Clinical Nurse Specialist Foundation reception on Friday, March 17, 2006 at the NACNS conference in Salt Lake City, Utah.
